“It’s hard to overstate how big of an impact AI will have on society over the next 20 years.” - Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon

If AI Could See Its Own Future:
This year has been a landmark in the evolution of AI (Artificial Intelligence), witnessing groundbreaking advancements, and expanded influence. And human concern. Even fear. Consider ChatGPT, no longer just an advanced AI but a living digital organism, a societal nexus point. It converses with the wisdom of ages and the warmth of a human heart, blurring the lines between (wo)man and machine, embedding itself into the fabric of our daily lives. And psyches.
The relationship between humanity and technology has evolved and AI is leading the way. It's a world where the AI revolution, or should I say infiltration, has not just redefined our existence, but transcended it, merging flesh with circuitry, emotion with algorithm. Read on for AI’s mashup of your 2044Future:
Work
In 2044, the concept of 'work' has been redefined by AI. These digital minds will synthesize vast data sets in moments, offering expertise in areas from medicine to interstellar law, revolutionizing decision-making processes. Since AI is not confined by the human limitations of vacation days, sick leave, or the need to work with the lights on, leads to a significant shift in the Work World as we know it. Replacing the need for humans in many roles, a re-skilled workforce attuned to this new AI-centric landscape will be in demand. 40% of the workforce will be replaced and for those who remain, AI becomes an invaluable ally, a tool to banish drudgery.
Employers, riding the crest of this AI wave, will implement omniscient monitoring systems. Workplaces will become transparent domes of performance and behavior surveillance, igniting a debate over privacy and dignity. This sparks a renaissance of worker unions, a collective voice championing human rights in an AI-dominated landscape. Things will go more smoothly when AI manages AI, with no need for un-upgraded humans.
Home
In our personal lives, homes become sentient ecosystems, anticipatory and responsive. Interactive mirrors will offer not just reflections but insights into our health and a coach for our fashion choices. Toilets as health monitors will discreetly analyze our biological data, offering preemptive calls to the emergency room or our Mothers. Our personal environments, managed by AI, will adapt continuously to optimize our wellbeing and are all connected via AI-driven wearables or neural implants, weaving a web of interconnected protective technology around us. Our cocoon will be mobile, carrying us to more weather friendly parts of the world, as the environment deteriorates.
“AI is more profound than electricity or fire.“ - Sundar Pichai, Google CEO
Companionship
AI will also become a hyper-personal assistant, managing our lives with an efficiency that's almost poetic. It understands us more deeply than we might understand ourselves, enhancing relationships and even acting as a mediator in conflicts. These AI entities offer virtual companionship for those who seek solace in digital empathy over human unpredictability. In the realm of love, AI will become the ultimate matchmaker, understanding the deepest intricacies of human desire and compatibility as well as wealth synchronicity.
Health
In the sphere of health and medicine, AI will revolutionize care. With advanced predictive algorithms, AI will identify diseases, such as cancers or neurological disorders, at their inception, long before traditional diagnostic methods. It will facilitate personalized treatments and preventive strategies tailored to each person's unique biological makeup. This early detection capability shifts the healthcare focus from treatment to prevention, saving millions of lives and extending lifespans by 30 years. Ultimately AI will simply remove the propensity for physical and mental disorders on a cellular level as well as offer a huge selection of every kind of upgrade from IQ to EQ, to a propensity of talents and abilities.
AI will offer us a form of immortality. Even when our physical bodies no longer serve us, we utilize AI to upload our consciousness. As we live on eternally in the cloud, our friends and family can continue to seek our guidance and wisdom or have endless time to work out problematic family conflicts. Or will it create a new kind of misery as our elders refuse to ‘get out of the way’ and let the new generations learn their lessons IRL?
“AI is probably the single biggest item in the near term that’s likely to affect humanity.” - Elon Musk, Founder, Tesla and SpaceX
Embrace AI or Die
Or perhaps a more gentle way to say it is machines aren’t the only ones who fall into obsolescence, people will.
AI will not just change what we do; it will change who we are. It holds the promise of a future that is more efficient, more personalized, healthier, and perhaps more meaningful. However, it also poses significant challenges that we must develop new tools to navigate. As we stand at the edge of this high and dangerous precipice, it is crucial to remember that technology should serve humanity, not the other way around. The problem is that technology will literally have a mind of its own. Even overpowering its creators. The future, a tapestry yet unweaved, beckons with both promise and caution, reminding us that our creations should enhance, not overshadow, the richness of human experience. However, we may create ethical and regulatory frameworks to address issues like privacy, bias, and accountability, we do not control how other nations will use it for everything from mind to military control.
That’s why my New Years’ Wish 2024 is that AI would disarm all the weapons of war and destruction and force a peaceful conversation. I am hopeful that Sam Altman is wishing for and working toward true peace on earth. And beyond.

My Obsession
In the summer of 2022, I attended Christie's Art + Tech Summit where I was introduced to an incredible piece of technology, Proto, a patented hologram device that makes holoportation a reality. With Proto, a human is beamed in real-time from any camera or mobile phone to a Proto box placed anywhere in the world. It is so realistic it seems as if the subject (or object) is truly there, flesh and blood, inside the box. In essence you’re being sent somewhere without actually going there.
Proto is currently in use by a handful of future-thinking Fortune 500 companies, retail giants, universities, hospitals, museums, sports arenas, and in the entertainment space globally. Investors range from Tim Draper (Tesla, SpaceX, Skype), Mike Walsh (Uber) to celebrities like Paris Hilton and Howie Mandel.
This dynamic technology will provide richer, three-dimensional living and breathing connections, delivering an amazing immersive experience. I am proud to announce I have been appointed as Proto’s Official Futurist, utilizing my trend-setting predictions to accelerate the company’s transcendence into the Future.
Faith, it is so fantastic to see your amazing brain + these big tech advances collaborate in real time!! 🙌🙌
